Computer company giant Microsoft has pulled out of sponsoring the spin-off of "Family Guy." It was supposed to sponsor "Family Guy Presents: Seth and Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show" but backed out after deciding the content did not fit with their brand.

The one-off special includes sketches by creator Seth MacFarlane and would have promoted the launch of Windows 7.

The show, part of a special night of programming on Fox network dedicated to MacFarlane, will be broadcast on November 8. It also stars Alex Borstein, who voices character Lois on the show.

According to reports, Microsoft bosses backed out of its sponsorship after attending a taping of the program, which allegedly contained jokes about the Holocaust, incest, and deaf people.

Microsoft assured fans that they still have good partnership with the network, MacFarlane, and Borstein despite pulling out of the deal.
