Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - After months of obsessive watching and voting, the 10th season of "American Idol" is down to its last three finalists. While we've seen quite a few changes this season, Haley Reinhart, Lauren Alaina, and Scotty McCreery will all be performing a song of the judge's choice. The three finalists were able to visit their hometowns to much fanfare over the past week, and now it's back to work for the trio, who are prepping their final performances on the Idol stage. The Judge's Choice pick for Haley Reinhart is none other than Alanis Morissette's career-making classic, 1996's "You Oughta Know." They decided to play it safe with Scotty McCreery's pick, choosing Kenny Rogers' #1 country single "She Believes In Me." Lauren Alaina also gets a #1 country hit as the Judge's Choice pick. She'll be performing Lee Ann Womack's "I Hope You Dance," which McCreery actually forgot the words to while performing it during the Hollywood week rounds. The top three will perform the judge's picks, as well as an individual choice and one from mentor Jimmy Iovine on Wednesday night. The final two will be revealed during Thursday night's results show. |
