BET has joined the call to stop the spread of HIV. The cable network is dedicating a full episode of "106 & Park" to the growing HIV/AIDS epidemic on the World AIDS Day on Tuesday.

Nicole Richie has announced that she's creating a new scripted comedy for ABC. The "Simple Life" star will be starring in an as-yet untitled sitcom for the alphabet network.

The world's greatest pro figure skaters will compete live in an all new TV show on ABC entitled "Thin Ice". The show will run over two days in March 2010 and be co-hosted by Emmy award winning talk show host Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Kurt Browning, four-time world champion Canadian figure skater.

ABC will show the animated holiday classic "A Charlie Brown Christmas Tales" on Tuesday December 15th at 8pm ET. The Peanuts themed special that will run over the hour will include the much loved cast of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy and Sally starring in his or her own animated vignette.

Lloyd Daniel has become the latest act to be voted off the ITV1 show "X-Factor". This week the remaining contestants had to sing two songs. The Welsh teenager performed "A Million Love Songs" by the British group Take That and "I'm Still Standing" by Sir Elton Jon. The 16-year-old from Treharris, South Wales was not a favorite of the judge Louis Walsh who made his feelings about the young singer clear every week. This week he gave feedback after Lloyd's performance saying that there must be people out there that like him more than he does and described his performance "karaoke". Whereas his mentor Cheryl Cole has said that he has a bright future and that "he has got loads of time to blossom into a real star". The teenage singer said he has "enjoyed every moment." During the results show there were performance from Rihanna who sung her new hit "Russian Roulette" and Alicia Keys did a medley of her current single with Jay Z, "No one" and her latest single "Doesn't Mean Anything". Lloyd Daniels has failed to reach the semi finals and left Olly Murs, Danyl Johnson, Joe McElderry and Stacey Solomon to battle it out to win this year's title.

In week eleven of the BBC series "Strictly Come Dancing" Natalie Cassidy was voted off. It was also a difficult week for Ricky Whittle who might not have been able to perform due to being arrested this week in Liverpool. Next week is the quarter finals of the celebrity dance show and all the contestants were pulling out all the stops to gain that coveted place. Unfortunately for the "Eastenders" actor, Natalie Cassidy and dance partner Vincent Simone, it wasn't enough and she was voted off but received a standing ovation from the audience. Joining her in the bottom two was "Hollyoaks" actor Ricky Whittle who has been the cause of much controversy this week after being arrested in Liverpool. The 29-year-old actor has been the favorite to win the competition receiving high scores for the past ten weeks. However on Saturday the judges said that his performance was "really off balance at the end, OK but it lacked kerpow" and "a bit lackluster". Ricky Whittle was held in custody until the early hours of Friday morning but was released on bail later that afternoon, which allowed him to still perform. He has been alleged of being part of a collision between a car and a male pedestrian, who is a photographer.

Hip-hop superstar Eminem has offered his services to be a guest judge on U.K.'s "The X Factor." Slim Shady said a global, platinum-selling star like him on the judges' panel would "guarantee" a hip-hop star.
