ABC has canceled another Adam Lambert appearance. The "American Idol" alum, who stirred controversy during his American Music Awards performance last month, was scheduled to appear on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on December 17, but the network put a stop to it.

"The Simpsons" are heading to Blu-ray. Fox is bringing the longest running American sitcom in history to the high-definition format, starting with the popular animated series' 20th season.

Canadian teen singing sensation Justin Bieber has been added to the list of performers for TNT's "Christmas In Washington." Bieber will join Mary J. Blige, Neil Diamond, Sugarland, Rob Thomas and Usher in the line-up.

BET Network and DStv are taking auditions to Nigeria on Sunday December 6th for BET's Gospel Singing Competition "Sunday Best". The show is in its third season and it is hosted by Gospel legend Kirk Franklin. For this season they have expanded the search for the next great gospel singer outside of U.S. soil.

Ty Pennington and Tiki Barber visit Wuzzleburg during the premiere week of Nick JR's Emmy Award winning show "Wow!Wow!Wubbzy!" starting Monday December 14th. The week long showings of the new episodes will run through till Friday December 18th at 3pm ET.

The first ever TeenNick HALO awards will be shown on Nickelodeon on December 11th at 8pm ET. The awards will celebrate young people who make a change in their community. The HALO (Helping and Leading Others) awards will be given to four deserving teens by four celebrities. There will also be a Personal Message from First Lady Michelle Obama.

Alec Mapa's uncensored and unedited one hour special is being shown on December 12th at 1am ET/PT. The show is entitled "No Fats, Femmes or Asians" and is the new stand up show from the actor and comedian. The world premiere of Alec Mapa's new comedy will be shown on Logo and is not for the easily offended or faint hearted. Mapa, who has appeared in a number of movies and TV shows including "Ugly Betty", "Desperate Housewives" and "Don't Mess with the Zohan", premieres his latest set that includes his usual remarks on pop culture, Hollywood and the LGBT community. Some of the taboo and risky memories that Mapa retells to his audience are his scandalous encounters at a circuit party and an unforgettable moment on a gay cruise. Alec Mapa manages to use the absurdity in pop culture to remind the audience of the importance of respecting each other despite the differences between race and sexual orientation. There will also be a chance to watch the show online at LOGOonline.com from Monday December 14th in Logo's "Funny Gay Stuff" playlist. "No Fats, Femmes or Asians" will also be available on Demand from Logo all the way through December.

The Tasty Awards are giving out honors to the best in food, fashion, drink, and style yet again in 2010. The awards show, taking place this January, is hosted by FLN's "Three Sheets" host and star Zane Lamprey.

The DIY Network is teaming up with This Old House Ventures to create a new series called "This New House." "This New House" will premiere in 2010 and will be hosted by Kevin O'Connor of PBS' "This Old House" and DIY Network's own Amy Matthews.

The Producers Guild of America has announced the nominations for their Television Series and Non-fiction Television categories. "Lost," "30 Rock," and "American Idol" are those among vying for a trophy.
