Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Ricki Lake is heading back to the small screen.

According to USA Today, executives at the Twentieth Television production company announced Wednesday that the 42-year-old former television host will be returning for a daytime talk show.

The hour-long program, which will be shot in Los Angeles, will be set for a possible fall 2012 launch.

In a statement released by the company, the show will "present topical conversation reflecting Ricki's own personal journey and recent life experiences, including family, marriage, parenting, divorce, weight loss and overall well-being."

In the height of the trash talk show trend, Lake's show debuted in 1993 and was on the air for more than 10 years.

Last November, Lake joined fellow talk show hosts Phil Donahue, Sally Jessy Raphael, Geraldo Rivera, and Montel Williams as guests of Oprah Winfrey on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," which marked the first time that these talk show hosts appeared together on one show since their programs left the air.
