Rob Estes To Leave "90201"

"90210" is losing not just Jennie Garth when it resumes on air next season, it will also lose series regular Rob Estes. The 46-year-old actor, who plays school principal Harry Wilson, will be leaving the famous zip code, according to a new report.

A RadarOnline.com source revealed that the veteran actor abruptly and unexpectedly quit the show amid rumors of failed contract negotiations.

The insider said, "The producers, the studio, and Rob came to the conclusion together that his role had ran its course. There just wasn't enough for Rob to do because the show is more about the kids."

And although the real reason for his departure is reportedly about monetary compensation, he is said to be leaving the show on good terms.

Another source contradicted that Estes isn't happy about his exit because he feels he deserves to be compensated accordingly.

Earlier this week, Garth, a cast of the original series in the '90s, is leaving the rebooted version to spend more time with her three daughters. She is married to "New Moon" star Peter Facinelli.
