September 27 Sees Return Of Showtime's "Dexter" And "Californication"

Now a husband and a father, Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) is finding juggling his new family responsibilities with that of his demanding job of analyst for Miami Metro Homicide difficult, not to mention his additional hobbies.

The pressure of taking care of his son Harrison appears to be wearing him down, but with the department busier than ever with the case of 'The Trinity Killer' (special guest star, Oscar nominee John Lithgow) to worry about, can Dexter still deliver the goods?

Right after this at 10pm (ET/PT) is the premiere of season three's "Californication." As Hank Moody (Emmy award winner David Duchovny) settles in to his 'real' job of being a college professor, he is having to adjust to the new role whilst keeping wild child Becca (Madeleine Martin) on the right path.

With Karen (Natascha McElhone) still working in New York, Hank tries to get used to his role and try and inspire his class as well as appeasing the Dean of Students (Peter Gallagher), the dean's wife (Embeth Davidtz) and his teacher's assistant (Diane Farr). Guest appearances from "Gossip Girl's" Ed Westwick and "Saved!'s" Eva Amurri will be featured this season.
