Taylor Momsen Put On "Hiatus" From "Gossip Girl"

Taylor Momsen is at the center of the gossip surrounding the CW drama "Gossip Girl," with reports saying she's been suspended from the show.

The 17-year-old provocateur, who made headlines recently for flashing her breasts to a crowd of concertgoers, will begin an "indefinite hiatus" from the show, according to Deadline.

Momsen has appeared on only three of the current season's nine episodes so far. Now Momsen, who's played rebellious Jenny Humphrey on the show since 2007, will be appearing even less.

"She only does it for the money," a source told Us Magazine. "She works hard on 'Gossip Girl' but doesn't care about the plot or the other cast members. She treats it like a 9-5. No emotional investment."

Momsen is also the lead singer of band the Pretty Reckless, who released their debut album earlier this year, and is currently the face of Madonna and daughter Lourdes' Material Girl clothing line and John Galliano's latest perfume.

But it looks like her latest antics, which include awful on-set behavior, ultra-inappropriate skimpy clothing, and expletive-filled interviews, might force her to lose her day job.

"Project Runway" star Tim Gunn appeared in a recent episode of the show opposite Momsen and blasted the teen star for her behavior. "What a diva," Gunn told E! News. "She was pathetic, she couldn't remember her lines, and she didn't even have that many. I thought to myself, 'Why are we being held hostage by this brat?'"

Momsen, who first garnered attention for her role as Cindy Lou Who in "The Grinch," recently said in an interview to Revolver magazine that she blames her parents for her actions.

"Everyone's like, 'Wow, why is she upset and why is she so miserable about things?' My parents signed me up with Ford [modeling agency] at the age of 2," Momsen said. "No 2-year-old wants to be working, but I had no choice."

"My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn't have any friends," she said. "I was working constantly and I didn't have a real life."
