While on the red carpet after taking home the biggest gong in the annual CMT Music awards, Carrie Underwood was asked if she had any advice for fellow artist, Miley Cyrus.

Underwood, who had been married for two years now to her hockey star husband Mike Comrie, adviced the two to “just take it easy”. She told them to plan everything slow and take the first few years just hanging out and getting to know each other.

It is known that the couple, Underwood and Comrie, were married in 2010. But it wasn’t until Comrie was traded to the Nashville Predators that they actually had the chance to live together as husband and wife.
