Usher Denies Reports His Wife Acted Like A Watchdog On His Music Video Shoot

March 28, 2008

Usher denies reports that his wife Tameka Foster acted like a watchdog on his music video shoot. The R&B singer insists that his wife was nothing short of supportive when he picked out singer Keri Hilson to be his onscreen partner, contrary to the rumors.

According to the New York Post, Foster was angry at her famous husband for choosing sultry Hilson as his love interest on his "Love In The Club" video. It was claimed that Foster, who is also a stylist, deliberately dressed Hilson in unstylish clothes.

A source said, "The day of the shoot, Tameka dressed Keri very badly - she looked like an extra."

Tameka also reportedly hated Usher's longtime choreographer, Jamaica, and banned her from the shoot.

However, Usher's manager, Benny Medina, has blasted the reports saying they are completely false.

He says, "Keri could not have been happier with Tameka's choices in the styling, hair and make-up.. Jamaica was flown out and arrived a day late to do Keri's choreography, and was on-set at all times. The shoot itself went brilliantly."

Usher and Foster married on August 3, 2007 in Atlanta. They have a child together named Usher Raymond V born in November 2007.
