Wendy Williams sued by concert promoter for "ungratefulness"

March 25, 2011 Wendy Williams

Atlantic City, NJ, United States (AHN Entertainment) - Wendy Williams has been slapped with a lawsuit by a concert promoter who claims she was "ungrateful."

"The Wendy Williams Show" host was allegedly paid $25,000 to appear at an Atlantic City resort for two hours, but she left only after an hour.

The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, alleges that Williams was supposed to make a 2-hour appearance at The Pool at Harrah's Resort. But after hardly mingling with guests for an hour, she left, complaining that she and her husband already wanted to leave.

She was supposed to take the mic on stage, but she retreated to a cabana instead, disappointing her fans who came out expecting her to host the party.

Williams also demanded that they were to be left alone while they drank 4 bottles of Ace of Spades and 2 bottles of white wine at her cabana.

And although the concert promoter, who was not mentioned by name by the website, was not satisfied with Williams' work ethics, Harrah's Resort has no complaint.

A rep told TMZ, "The Pool After Dark at Harrah's Resort was pleased with Wendy's appearance and would gladly welcome her back. We are not a party to the lawsuit and have no comment on that issue."
