Whitney Port Throws Opening Pitch At Dodgers Vs. Mets Game |

Whitney Port, star of MTV's "The City", was the honorary opening pitcher at a recent Dodgers vs. Mets game. A self-professed Dodgers devotee, Port excitedly blogs about her May 21 sporting debut on her official whitneyport.celebuzz.com website. "It was so cool because I've been a Dodgers fan my whole life," she exclaims. So it was really special to be there with my entire family." Port's self-appraisal of her performance was upbeat. "I'm pretty proud of myself. For someone who hasn't played in quite a few years I think I did pretty well." The USC graduate's line of careers includes model, Teen Vogue contributor and clothing designer. She cut her reality television teeth as part of the ensemble of fashion-forward gal pals on MTV's "The Hills". Her side story prompted "The City" spin-off which premiered in December 2008. |
