Zooey Deschanel To Marry Ben Gibbard This Month

Zooey Deschanel will marry this month. The "(500) Days of Summer" actress is planning to return to the U.S. in the next few weeks to marry her rocker fiance, Ben Gibbard.

The 29-year-old beauty is currently based in Northern Ireland while she films fantasy comedy "Your Highness," where she takes on the role of virginal bride Belladonna.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Zooey is in Belfast with James Franco and Natalie Portman but will return at the end of September for her ceremony in Seattle."

Filming of the movie, out next year, is expected to end mid-October.

It was recently revealed the star has been taking ballet classes to slim down before the forthcoming nuptials.

A source said: "Zooey has been taking classes at Pure Barre in Los Angeles to prepare for the wedding. She has been doing workouts which are based on ballet barre work back to back."

"She'll take a class, wait 15 minutes, and then take another."

Zooey has been dating the Death Cab for Cutie singer for two years.
