Fans of the Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum musician Wyclef Jean will now get to read first-hand about the ups and downs about the life of the artist. The book will chronicle his childhood in the rural village of La Serre in Haiti and his immigration to Brooklyn, New York.

With the help of his currently jailed friend T.I., who has his own alter ego in T.I.P., Wyclef Jean is introducing Toussant St. Jean. The persona is the title character of Wyclef's new EP "From the Hut to the Projects to the Mansion," being released on Sony and Megaforce Records.

Grammy-award winning musician Wyclef Jean is giving back to the children in his native country of Haiti in a big way. The musician is currently planning to build a school in conjunction with the charity he started, the Yéle Haiti Foundation in 2005.
