Synopsis of Earth Days
Earth Days is a documentary film by Robert Stone about the start of the environmental movement in the USA. The film discusses the American environmental crisis of the 1970s and how it galvanized ordinary people to get involved in saving the environment. The story is told through the lives of nine environmental activists, including the entomologist Paul R. Ehrlich, who is known for his work on population growth, and Rusty Schweickart, who became a Californian energy commissioner. Archival footage is woven through the film.
