No one can say Steve Carell isn't Smart. He's Smart...Maxwell Smart in Get Smart, the movie incarnation of the classic television series.

And for some odd, misguided reason, the makers have decided to make Maxwell Smart smart. Dumb move. It undermines the whole comic thrust of the property originally created and developed by Mel Brooks and Buck Henry that aired from 1965-70.
