No miracle this time for director Spike Lee.

Lee has frequently gone on the record about the underrepresentation of African-American soldiers in movies about World War II. So his fictionalized true-life drama, Miracle at St. Anna, the first movie about World War II devoted to the experience of black military personnel who served, provides him a chance to offer at least a partial corrective.
