"AOTS" Host Olivia Munn To Produce "Star Wars" Fan Films With Atom
Thu, 23 Jul 2009

"Attack of the Show" co-host Olivia Munn is joining forces with a digital comedy network to star and executive produce "Star Wars" fan films.

The 27-year-old geek goddess will be joining Atom.com at the Comic-Con International in San Diego this weekend to debut the first of the "Star Wars"-themed videos she has produced through "Operation Olivia: The Star Wars Challenge."

"Operation Olivia" will debut online at Olivia.atom.com on Saturday, July 25. She will also appear at the annual Lucasfilm-Atom.com "Star Wars Fan Movie Awards" ceremony on Friday, and will participate in Atom's panel at Comic-Con the next day, where she will discuss the project in more detail.

Munn said, "I'm excited to show everyone my exclusive 'Star Wars' fan films; it's great to get the official seal of approval from Lucasfilm and Atom - and hopefully the fans. No, there isn't any wrestling with a rancor, BUT there might be a suggestive scene with Jar Jar Binks - no promises though!"

Munn currently co-hosts G4 channel's techie show "Attack of the Show!" with Kevin Pereira. She appears as the cover girl for the July/August 2009 issue of Playboy magazine.
