"Four Christmases" Tops Weekend Box Office; "Australia" Disappoints At Fifth

Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn's tandem proves to be a success at the box office. The odd couple beats Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman at their opening weekend. "Four Christmases" debuted at the top with .7 million, taking in a total of .7 million since its opening on Wednesday. Kidman and Jackman's epic romance "Australia" took in a disappointing .8 million debut. It ranks fifth at the list compiled by Exhibitor Relations. Meanwhile, the hit vampire romance flick "Twilight" dropped 62 percent from last weekend, although still managing to gross a respectable .4 milion. The top 10 films of the weekend: 1.
