"Gran Torino" Tops Weekend Box Office With Million

Clint Eastwood's drama film "Gran Torino" has won the box office war this weekend, racking up million gross.

The film beats newly released pics "Bride Wars" and "The Unborn," which settled at second and third place respectively.

Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson's romantic comedy has surpassed expectations, grossing an estimate of .5 million from 3,226 theaters, while horror thriller, "The Unborn," starring Gary Oldman and Odette Yustman, followed at a close second with million.

"Marley and Me" and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button make up the top five at fourth and fifth places respectively.
