It looks like its stacking up to be a battle of the superheroes at the 35th Annual People Choice Awards. "Iron Man," "The Dark Knight" and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" will all battle it out for favorite movie.

Nominees battling it out in TV land for favorite drama include "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Grey's Anatomy" and "House." On the funny side of the screen, "Two and a Half Men," "Ugly Betty" and "Samantha Who?" are nominated for favorite TV comedy.

New categories have been added this year and include favorite superhero, TV drama diva and movie cast.

A few of the categories and nominees are:

Favorite leading man: Christian Bale, Brad Pitt and Mark Wahlberg.

Favorite leading lady: Anne Hathaway, Kate Hudson and Queen Latifah.

Favorite funny male star: Steve Carell, Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler.

Favorite funny female star: Ellen DeGeneres, Tina Fey and Whoopi Goldberg.
