"Kung Fu Panda" Sweeps Annie Awards With 11 Wins

"Kung Fu Panda" has swept awards at the annual Annie Awards Friday, taking 11 prizes at the celebrated animation award-giving body.

The DreamWorks Animation film took home the top prize, Best Animated Feature, as well as the Best Animated Effects.

Dustin Hoffman was also recognized for his role as the martial arts guru Master Shifu in the film. He was named Best Voice Actor.

"Kung Fu Panda" also starred the voices of Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen, and Ian McShane. It has also been nominated for an Oscar award for Best Animated Feature.

  • Best Animated TV Production Produced for Children: "Avatar: The Last Airbender"
  • Best Animated Video Game: "Kung Fu Panda"
