"Paul Blart: Mall Cop" Tops Box Office Weekend List

Kevin James' new comedy film "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" has topped the weekend box office list this week. "The King of Queens" star reigns on the movies list with a wide margin from the second placer "Gran Torino." Despite getting a mixed review from critics, the film still managed to top the films' box office race this weekend, taking .8 million gross. It has beaten last week's number one, Clint Eastwood's "Gran Torino," which grossed .2 million. The horror flick "My Bloody Valentine 3-D" is at number 3 with .9 million, while the controversial biopic, "Notorious," which tackles the late rapper Notorious B.I.G.'s life story, is at fourth place. Completing the top 5 is the Nickelodeon novel-based film "Hotel for Dogs," which grossed .7 million at the box office. The top grossing weekend films as compiled by Exhibitor Relations: 1.
