"Resident Evil 4" In The Works; Milla Jovovich Likely To Reprise Her Role
Fri, 30 Jan 2009

Video game-based film "Resident Evil" is developing its third sequel and filmmakers are trying to get star Milla Jovovich to reprise her role, according to new reports.

Joblo.com cites a "very reliable" source, saying that "Resident Evil 4" is really happening. Director/producer Paul Anderson has written the screenplay, but is not helming the film.

Just like the first three pictures, the film is also expected to have very dark tones and has enough fighting scenes. Its script will be more like "Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse," but with better dialogue.

Patrick Tatopoulos will be in charge of the zombies' effects. He will be joined by a new special effects supervisor, Michael Lantieri.

Shooting will take place in Toronto and Toyko.
