"Sex And The City" Star Kim Cattrall Confirms The Film's Sequel

"Sex and the City" star Kim Cattrall has confirmed there will be a sequel to the hit HBO produced chick flick.

Speaking to former Spice Girl Mel B in a U.K. show interview, the 52-year-old actress revealed, "Yes, there will be a sequel. We will do the sequel next summer."

"We wanted to (film) the first time, and now we're hopefully doing it again for the second time."

Plans for the follow-up film have long been rumored, some reports even suggesting confirmation by lead star Sarah Jessica Parker and director Michael Patrick King.

The first film, which was released earlier this year, grossed over 0 million in worldwide box office. Along with Parker and Cattrall, the film stars Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, and Chris Noth.
