"Superbad" Actress Emma Stone In Talks To Star In "Zombieland"
Fri, 16 Jan 2009

Emma Stone, who made her debut in 2007's comedy "Superbad," is in final negotiations to appear alongside Woody Harrelson in the Columbia horror-comedy pic "Zombieland."

The film, which also stars "Cursed" actor Jesse Eisenberg, centers on a group of survivors who team up to fight zombies in the post-apocalyptic Southwest after a plague destroys the country.

Ruben Fleischer will helm the project, while Gavin Palone will produce. Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese wrote the script.

Shooting kicks off in Atlanta in February.

Stone gained wide exposure in the 2008 comedy "The Rocker," starring Rainn Wilson, and in the Anna Farris-starrer "The House Bunny." She can next be seen in the upcoming romantic comedy "The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" with Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner.
