"Wolverine" Schedules Another 10 Days Of Re-Shoots
Fri, 16 Jan 2009
Less than four months before its scheduled release date on May 1, Fox's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" still isn't finished. Cast member Dominic Monaghan reveals the film still needs re-shooting. Talking to the NY Post's Popwrap Blog, the "Lost" actor said he has been scheduled to go back in Vancouver and do another 10 day film shoot at the end of January to complete the film. When asked if that "10 days" is for re-shooting or for adding new scenes, Monaghan, who is playing mutant Barnell Bohusk, replied, "We're doing a bit of both, more than anything else, it's an additional scene which I would get shot in the head if I told you anything about." "But my character features in a huge set piece with Hugh [Jackman] and Liev [Schreiber]. I think the best thing I can tell you is that it's a flashback scene." Fox explained to Collider.com that the re-shoots were "planned and intended to capture specific weather conditions." "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" is directed by Gavin Hood and stars Hugh Jackman in the title role.
