Wed, 01 Jul 2009
After the huge success of "Paul Blart: Mall Cop," Kevin James is scoring some big names for his next movie. Among them are Adam Sandler, Sylvester Stallone, and Cher. Yes, Cher. You won't actually recognize the stores in James' new movie however. In "The Zookeeper," Sandler, Stallone, and Cher will voice animals in the live-action comedy which features James in the Dr. Dolittle-like role of a zookeeper who can talk to the zoo animals who help him win the woman of his dreams. Sandler will reportedly voice a capuchin monkey, Cher will voice a giraffe, and Stallone will voice a lion. Also added to the voice cast are director/actor Jon Favreau who wll voice a bear and director Judd Apatow who'll voice an elephant. The film also co-stars Rosario Dawson. Shooting is set to begin in late summer for an October 2010 release.
