Arnold Schwarzenegger May Appear In The New "Terminator" Film
Fri, 21 Nov 2008

Arnold Schwarzenegger would probably appear in "Terminator: Salvation," the fourth in the sci-fi war flick franchise, it has been revealed.

When pictures of the Governor of California at the film's set circulated on the Internet, there were rumors that he was there to film a cameo role. However, the film's director was coy in answering the reports.

Director McG told TotalFilm that they are trying to "synthesize a human character with a CGI character and that may or may not have something to do with the T800."

He also added that he's not happy with the process so far, saying, "At the moment it's not good enough. And we're running out of time."

The filmmaker also cleared rumors that the film spoiler that was posted on aintitcool.com won't be the action film's ending, after the producers decided to change the finale.

In the alleged ending, protagonist John Connor would die and be turned into a machine, after the resistance felt it would be important to keep his image alive to keep the fight alive.

McG said, "That is not the ending. John Connor is not the machine. We did discuss that idea, but that is not the ending, I can say that right now."

"The Dark Knight" star Christian Bale is onboard to play the lead character. It is scheduled to be released in May.
