Ben Stiller Planning A "Zoolander 2" Film
Tue, 02 Dec 2008

Ben Stiller is planning to follow up his 2001 comedy "Zoolander" with a sequel, he reveals.

The 43-year-old comedian, who was in London last week promoting another sequel "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa," revealed he is in talks to get a green light on the sequel.

He told tabloid The Sun, "We've been trying to get Zoolander 2 together and we've had a few scripts. I feel that is the sequel I really would like to do some day because I like the original and I would make sure it was something new and worthy of it first."

Stiller played a dimwitted top male model Derek Zoolander who wanted to find his real purpose in life while fighting a conspiracy to kill the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

He also added that his other comedy, "Meet the Parents," is a possible candidate for a second sequel.
