Brad Pitt's anti-hero turn as Tyler Durden in the 1999 film "The Fight Club" has been named the Greatest Movie Characters of All Time by Empire Magazine.

Tyler, the soap salesman who started a club with Edward Norton's nameless character in the film, is "an utterly indelible creation," according to the poll. He beats Darth Vader and Heath Ledger's Joker at the top of the list.

Movie icons Han Solo and Hannibal Lecter round up the top 5, while another Harrison Ford character Indiana Jones is in 6th place.
