Funny man Jack Black is set to star in a new film adaptation of the classic novel "Gulliver's Travels."

The "Tropic Thunder" star will play Lemuel Gulliver, a travel writer who, while on assignment in the Bermuda Triangle, gets washed ashore on the hidden island of Lilliput and finds himself a giant among a population of tiny people.

"Shark Tale" director Rob Letterman will be directing the contemporary version of the classic Jonathan Swift tale, as per Variety. Nicholas Stoller and Joe Stillman penned the script.

Productions will kick off in March.
