Kristin Kreuk To Play Video Game Character In New Film

Former "Smallville" star Kristin Kreuk will be playing a video game character in the 20th Century Fox film "Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li."

The story will follow the quest and personal history of the title character, played by Kreuk.

"American Pie" hunk Chris Klein, Black Eyed Peas star Taboo, Golden Globe Award-nominated actor Michael Clarke Duncan, and Neal McDonough - who will play the villain, M. Bison - will be joining the 25-year-old actress on the live-action film.

"Romeo Must Die" and "Exit Wounds" director Andrzej Bartkowiak is handling the film.

"Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" is scheduled for release on February 27.
