Main Character From "Sex And The City" Sequel Film To Be Killed Off
Thu, 20 Nov 2008

Carrie Bradshaw might just lose one of her friends. Rumor has it that one of the main characters in the upcoming sequel to the "Sex and the City" film will be killed off to keep fans "captivated."

Producers are reportedly working on a follow-up to the 2008 box office hit, and that one of the girls - Carrie and friends Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda - might be killed off in the next installment.

An insider told heatworld.com, "There is no doubt that a sequel will happen but the producers are very aware that something dramatic has to happen in order to keep fans captivated."

"There is a very strong possibility that one of the main characters will be killed off but it's not clear who yet. Obviously it's unlikely to be Carrie but any of the others could meet their end. Scripts are already being worked on with various scenarios."

It was revealed earlier this year that a character was supposed to die at the first film. However, the movie bosses felt it was unnecessary to include and thus, deleted the scene from the final "SATC" cut.
