Michael Douglas' "Wall Street" Sequel Greedy At The Box Office Weekend Top

Michael Douglas' return as the greedy Gordon Gekko is good for the box office. "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps," the sequel to the 1987 hit "Wall Street," won the weekend race at the box office with million gross. The sequel, which also stars Shia LaBeouf, is Douglas' number one opener since 2001 and LaBeouf's sixth number one since 2007, eonline.com notes. Other newcomers "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole" and the comedy "You Again" are at a disappointing second and fifth place respectively. Last weekend's number one, "The Town," dropped to third this week, while "Resident Evil: After Life" is at seventh with another .9 million take.
