Mickey Rourke Joins The Cast Of "The Expendables"

"The Wrestler" star Mickey Rourke is the latest to join the cast of Sylvester Stallon's action pic "The Expendables."

As per Variety, the 56-year-old actor will play a corrupt arms dealer who becomes the go-to guy for a group of mercenaries planning to bring down a South American dictator.

The group of mercenaries will be played by Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Randy Couture and Dolph Lungdren. Forest Whitaker and Ben Kingsley are still in talks to accept roles on the project.

The film, which is written and directed by Stallone, will begin production in March in Brazil.
