Actor Paul Giamatti will be starring in an indie film by director Andres Baiz titled "Babylon." Anthony Mackie is set to co-star.

Giamatti's role will be a British Prime Minister and Mackie will play a Rasta from Jamaica. They will both accompany a 12-year-old Jamaican boy from the Kingston ghetto while trying to outrun gangsters, as per Variety.

The film is scheduled to begin production in Jamaica this coming February.

Mackie has been recently seen in the 2008 action thriller "Eagle Eye" as Major William Bowman. His next film, "The Hurt Locker," is still awaiting release.

Giamatti will next be seen in 2009's "Duplicity," opposite Clive Owen and Julia Roberts.
