Sean William Scott, last seen in last year's buddy comedy "Role Models," and former "The O.C." resident Adam Brody, are joining "A Couple of Dicks." The two have been cast in the Warner Bros. action comedy.

The comedy, directed by Kevin Smith, stars Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan as a maverick cop and his partner who get tangled in a plot with gangsters, millions of dollars, and a Mexican beauty while tracking down a valuable stolen baseball card.

Scott plays a thief known as the S--- Bandit, while Brody will play a detective. The film begins shooting on Monday.

Smith, who last directed "Zack & Miri Make a Porno," is directing his first film which he did not write. The script comes from TV's "Las Vegas" scribes Robb & Mark Cullen.
