Sharon Stone and Kim Cattrall are tapped to return in a new "Police Academy" film. The two stars, who were both featured in the comedy franchise's earlier films, may be back with co-star Steve Guttenberg.

Guttenberg has been quoted by The Sun as saying, "We are doing a new movie and it is going to be great fun. A script is being written so far it is really great, everyone from the original movies who is still around will return."

"I know Kim and Sharon have been asked but they haven't said yes yet. It would be really great to have them on board."

Cattrall appeared in the original 1984 film, while Stone was in "Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol" in 1987.
