Fri, 02 Jul 2010
While "Twilight" fans pour into theaters to see the latest in the vampire and werewolf-filled saga, the "Paranormal" is just too much. After complaints from moviegoers that the new teaser trailer for the upcoming thriller "Paranormal Activity 2" was too frightening, it's been pulled from certain theaters. After customer complaints that it was too scary, Cinemark removed the "Paranormal Activity 2" trailer from cinemas in Texas where it was playing before "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" to sold-out audiences. The trailer opens with footage from the first "Paranormal Activity" movie, including a man being thrown towards the camera. The new footage from the upcoming sequel shows a baby in a crib and a dog barking at a mysterious figure, along with rocking chairs moving on their own. "Paranormal Activity 2" opens everywhere on October 22nd. The trailer deemed too scary for theaters is available for viewing online. The first "Paranormal Activity" grossed over 3 million at the worldwide box office. It cost only ,000 to make. Article © AHN - All Rights Reserved
