Los Angeles, CA, United States (AHN Entertainment) - If his trailer is anything to go by, Will Smith is still playing "Big Willie Style." Smith's massive luxury trailer on the set of "Men in Black 3" has posed a problem for nearby residents.
While filming in a neighborhood in New York's Soho district, Smith's trailer has been described as a major nuisance by local residents. They say it's causing traffic, blocking access to local businesses, giving off fumes, and more.
According to TMZ, Smith is rolling in a 53-foot, double-decker style luxury mega-trailer. It's 1,150 square feet of get this: marble floors, a bedroom, several offices, a 100-inch TV, and more.
The trailer had to be towed away to a private lot about half a mile from the set and even Mayor Bloomberg got involved, releasing a statement from the Mayor's Office of Film, Theater and Broadcasting.
"To balance the interests of the production and the neighborhood, we have instructed 'Men in Black 3' to relocate the trailer to a private lot," the statement read.
Even though the local residents didn't think so, Will Smith called the entire ordeal "hilarious." Don't worry, Will. You can be our neighbor anytime.
"Men in Black 3" also stars Josh Brolin, Alice Eve, Tommy Lee Jones, Emma Thompson, and Nicole Scherzinger. It's set to hit theaters in May 2012.
