Movie Synopsis
Star Wars: The Clone Wars is a 2008 CGI animated science fiction film. It was released on August 14, 2008 in Australia and August 15, 2008 in the United States and United Kingdom by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film premiered at Grauman's Egyptian Theatre on August 10, 2008.[1] It is the seventh Star Wars feature film to be released in theaters - the first since 2005's Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The film acts as an introduction to the upcoming animated TV series and is the first animated Star Wars feature film. It is also the first Star Wars film not distributed by 20th Century Fox, with Warner Bros. instead handling distribution.
